Well, Spring has reluctantly arrived here in ROC and we are celebrating our annual lilac festival. Here is a picture of the lovely, fragrant flower. Unfortunately, our spring has been very slow and cool so our Lilac trees are not in full bloom yet.
In other news, Sgt Dad's brother, Officer D, has had another little girl! Little Pea was not so little however, she is 21" long and 9lbs 5oz! Her poor mother looked totally wiped out! She's a beauty though and a welcome addition to a family full of boys!

Congrats on the new neice. There's just something about babies in the Spring...so appropriate! And, I do love the lilacs, too!
